Lawrence (Larry) Cleveland Coriell, 73 of Virginia Beach, Virginia Was called to His Heavenly Home Thursday February 28, 2019

He was born September 28th, 1945 in Portsmouth, Ohio and grow up in New Boston, Ohio, where he attended, Glenwood high School

Only Son of the late Lawrence Evert Coriell and Marry Alice Coriell

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Brenda Jean Adams Coriell, Two sons Randy Lee Coriell of Moyock, North Carolina and Michael Wayne Coriell and his wife Teresa of Trenton, Florida. One Daughter Amanda Louise Coriell Teter and her husband Kenneth Teter of Elkins West Virginia. Eight Grand Children, Holly Coriell and Michael Coriell Ridgeway and her husband Andrew of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Samantha and Tiffany Armentrout of Elkins, West Virginia, Jessica Shepherd Smart and her husband Luke and Stephanie Shepherd Bucher and her Husband Ken all of Wilmington, Ohio and Juanita and Kenneth (KJ) Teter of Elkins, West Virginia and 3 Great Grandsons Daemon Armentrout and Jaron Armentrout of Elkins, West Virginia and Alex Bucher of Wilmington, Ohio. Sister Sandra Louise Coriell Compton and Husband Greg of Franklin Furnace, Ohio. Several Nieces and Nephews, Brother in Laws and Sisters in Laws in Ohio and North Carolina, Florida and Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by his Sister Mary Barbara Coriell McGovern April 6th, 2001, a Daughter Mary Kathleen Coriell Armentrout Nov. 2nd, 2002 and Daughter in law Tammy Lynn Dodson Coriell April 2, 2018

Larry lived a Full and interesting life, He was a Psychiatric Aid the Portsmouth Receiving Hospital, Portsmouth Ohio.

He was Lt for the Scioto county Sheriff’s Department, where in 1960 he was Outstanding officer of the Year and had 42 Felony arrests by himself in that year and never lost a case in Court, and was a NRA Police Fire Arms Instructor.

He had over 3 million miles safe Driving in a Tractor Traylor and went on to be certified by the state of Ohio as a Truck Driver Instructor, and worked for MTA Driving School.

He loved to Fish, Fresh water and salt water. He loved to shoot his Guns and could tell you almost anything about fire Arms.

He also loved to cook.

He Loved God and his Family. And Was Proud to be a Christian, a Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather. Larry was very Proud to be an American.
